The Dragon Quest Metal Slime Edition is an attractive limited edition for the PS VITA. It was released in 2014. It has a silver outer shell that gives it a luxurious look. The metal slime figure, which can be plugged into the 3.5 mm headset port to keep it in place, is the most special feature of this limited edition. The downside is that it renders the port unusable.

This version of the VITA was sold exclusively on the Japanese market. Sony also made a special Slime-variant of the PS4.
