The Gamecube Tales of Symphonia pack is a bundle consisting of a Tales of Symphonia themed Gamecube and the game. In Europe it was only released in France. The Gamecube came with a matching mint green controller.
Only between 1000 and 5000 were made. This bundle is much more scarce than the almost identical Japanese bundle of which between 5.000 and 10.000 units were sold. This Japanese version came with a matching Gameboy player. The France version does not. The reason for this in unclear. Maybe to reduce cost, or maybe because the Gameboy Player was more popular in Japan than in Europe.
Nintendo hardly made an effort for this France bundle. Even the picture on the disc tray is identical to the Japanese version, including Japanese writing.
