The Philips CD-i wasn’t the worlds best console when ik came out in the late 80’s. It also wasn’t primarly intended to be a dedicated gaming console, but more like an interactive video player. With that in mind, the games that came out for the Philips CD-i also didn’t age very well. The hardware of the CD-i was just to limited and Philips did only realize at the end of the consoles life cycle that games were the only media that earned some mony. This does’t mean that all the games were of poor quality. It is even possible to enjoy some of them today. I made a small video compilation of the CD-i games in my own collection that I enjoyed the most. Have fun!
