Overview
The Sony PSOne SCPH-141 cobines both a PSOne and a 5-inch LCD screen. The screen enables the gamer to play games while traveling by eliminating the need for a external tv or screen. It is however not an handheld, because it cannot run on batteries. In contradiction to the normal PSOne it included a headphone jack (for headphones or other audio connection) and an AV mini jack for connecting camcorders or other devices.
The combo was released by Sony in 2001 shortly after releasing the redesigned version of the original Playstation in 2000.

The console is powerd by a dedicated 32 bit RISC processor that optimizes overall system performance. Furthermore the the graphics memory of 8 Mbits, 2 mb of RAM en 1 MB of Vram in this Sony PS1 enhances the visuals. The 24-channel stereo sound system in the Sony PSOne SCPH-141 gives rich sound effect taking into account the thinnes of the screen of this special console.
