Microsoft lanced this special edition to promote the upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 and of course the Xbox One X. This special edition was released in June of 2020. Microsoft included a full-game digital download of Cyberpunk 2077. This game was much anticipated and was promised to release on September 17, 2020. Due to many delays people had to wait until the December 10 of that year to play the game. At that time, the new Xbox series X was already released.

The console was limited to only 45.000 units worldwide and was sold out in no time everywhere. The limited quantity, it’s looks and the popularity of the game contributed to the fact that the Xbox One X Cyberpunk Edition has become a collectors item.
